Chain Schedule

The schedule determines during which hours the chain can send messages.

How the Schedule Works

  • During working hours — steps execute on schedule

  • Outside working hours — steps are postponed until the start of working hours

Schedule Configuration

  1. Open chain editor

  2. Find Schedule section

  3. Configure hours for each day of the week

  4. Click Save

Parameters

For each day of the week you can configure:

Behavior Outside Schedule

If a step should execute outside working hours:

  1. Step is postponed

  2. Executes at the start of the next working period

Example:

  • Step scheduled for 11:00 PM Saturday

  • Schedule: until 6:00 PM

  • Sunday is disabled

  • Step will execute Monday at 9:00 AM

Execution Limit

Besides the schedule, you can set an execution limit — maximum number of chain runs for one contact.

  • No limit — chain can run repeatedly

  • Limit 1 — chain will run only once for each contact

Recommendations

  • Configure schedule according to your business hours

  • Don't send messages at night — it annoys customers

  • Consider your audience's time zones
